At the end of each season, there will be a 4-round minor league draft. Any players that are not on either the Major League roster or Minor League roster will be eligible. Draft will be in reverse order of final season standings.
Rostering Minor Leaguers Players taken either with as one of the 2 initial minor leaguers, or during the minor league draft are not required to be rostered on their Major League roster until they reach either 175 at bats or 75 innings pitched. Once they reach either of those numbers, they can be rostered by anyone in the league. So essentially, you will need to get that player on your Major League roster prior to them reaching that number.
Trading Draft Picks Draft picks can be traded as a part of a trade involving either draft picks or players.
Duration of Minor Leagues A player drafted in the minor league draft can be kept as long as the player does not surpass the limitations required to be put on the Major League roster.
Eligible Players for Draft Any player who is not currently on either a Major League roster or a Minor League roster is eligible to be drafted. This includes: International Free Agents, Draftees, Foreign Players, and anyone that will be eligible for the MLB draft.
